Articulate – AI Voice Coach (“Articulate,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an AI-powered speaking coaching app that helps users practice speaking, receive analysis, and track improvement over time. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and what choices you have.

When you use Articulate, you may create audio or video recordings and respond to prompts. We may process:
If you subscribe to Articulate Pro, subscriptions, billing, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple. We may receive subscription status, entitlement status, transaction-related metadata, and app-specific subscriber identifiers from Apple and our subscription management provider in order to unlock paid features and restore purchases.
We may collect limited technical information needed to operate and secure the app, such as device and app information, request metadata, integrity/security tokens, and server-side logs generated when requests are sent to our backend or service providers.
We may store your onboarding responses, app preferences, and similar settings to personalize your experience.

Saved recordings remain in Articulate’s private local storage on your device until you delete, export, or remove the app. Articulate also marks saved recordings to stay out of device backups where supported.
When you use AI analysis, Articulate may send the selected recording, prompt text, transcripts, and related session context through app-operated processing services and third-party AI processors so transcripts, feedback, scores, drills, and coaching output can be generated.
When you ask Articulate to turn a custom direction into a fresh practice prompt, the custom direction, prompt text, and related session context may also be sent through the same processing pipeline.
Temporary processing uploads are intended to be deleted after each request completes, but short-term retention may still occur if a request fails or is interrupted.
Session metadata such as prompts, transcripts, scores, coaching notes, and session history may sync through your private iCloud/CloudKit account when available. Recording files themselves are not part of CloudKit sync.

Articulate is not intended for children under 13, or the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. Your information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live, including by our service providers. By using the app, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection laws than your own.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date above and may provide additional notice where required.
